8×14: Holding Out for a Hero

STOP. SPOILER WARNING.

The day has (almost) arrived! If, like us, you’ve followed “One Tree Hill” since the beginning, you’re probably a little bit verklempt at the idea of the perpetually unlucky in love Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush) finally setting down with “the one.”

Brooke and Julian (Austin Nichols) have weathered plenty of storms: his history with her best friend Peyton (Hilarie Burton), his hang-ups about Lucas’s fictionalized version of her high-school self, his crazy dad, her crazier mom, a slightly-stalkerish suicidal model… and, more recently, a literal storm that nearly killed them both.

Even with financial woes and a meddling mother-in-law (Sharon Lawrence), the Tree Hill wedding looks beautiful – at least, from what we can see in this behind-the-scenes clip. Jackson Brundage is particularly adorable and Bush looks perfect in her presumably Brooke-designed dress (which is actually a BCBG Max Azria creation).

While the Brooke-fangirl part of us wants the wedding to go off without a hitch, we’re also kind of looking forward to that classic “One Tree Hill” drama that only gets worse when people get dressed up.

Some new promos have came out, take a look at them below!

Episode 2,Season 7 of One Tree Hill will be entitled, “What Are You Willing To Lose.” In this episode Haley will battle to protect Red Bedroom Records,and Kate Voegele returns to the show as Mia, to help Haley out.

Brooke will cast the new face of her clothing line,and Clay who is Nathan’s agent will defend him against the sex scandal that he’s being accused of. Julian and Brooke will decide to move in together. Meanwhile Dan Scott (Paul Johansson) will have a new bride to introduce. Check out the promo below.

“One Tree Hill” episode 2 of season 7 airs Monday September 21 at 7pm central time on the CW.

The CW interviewed “One Tree Hill” star, Lisa Goldstein. She plays Millicent Huxtable on the show. She talked about what her character will be doing in season 7. She said Millicent takes over the New York branch for “Clothes over Bros.”

Her character will be similar to Brooke’s character ,in the fact that she will now have an assistant to boss around and things of that nature. She said she was similar to her onscreen character in that she was the biggest mess when she first started on “One Tree Hill,” and now that she’s been on a TV set for a while, she knows more about what’s going on.

Also her character has been in the fashion world for a while,and knows more about it,so her and her character are sort of growing together. She concluded by saying the premiere is going to be so good and so exciting.

Suddenly it feels like we’ve run out of steam for a bit.  Well, mostly because we already have an idea abo

ut who those three new characters on One Tree Hill are–Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten and Jana Kramer, not to mention the return of Danneel Harris as complicating element Rachel Gatina.  So, spoilers?  Sure?

Short ones, this batch, from the folks at E! Online.  You’ve probably seen this, but then again, doesn’t hu

rt to mention them too and perhaps ask a few more questions along the way.  So, ready to read? 
Someone asked if Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian (Austin Nichols) will last longer in the next season.  They said yes.  The cynical in me will say it won’t be as smooth as it seems–well, maybe not as tumultuous as what happened before.
Then again, I do have to remember that there will be another one-year time jump–so things could’ve gone pretty well already, for they would’ve lasted for at least a year, right?  But I ramble.

Someone else asked in Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton will still show up on some OTH episodes as guests.  They said no–well, not exactly: they’re guessing it could be in the finale.  I’m guessing they’d show up in phone calls, unless they really want nothing to do with the show now.  But sources say them showing up is doub

tful, especially this season–so I’ll play “in the pretty far future” card right now.

Besides, at this rate I won’t be surprised if OTH lasts for, hrmmm, five more seasons or so?
